Predicting IT Failures Before They Occur
A leading hybrid IT and managed services provider manages complex IT infrastructure for enterprise clients, processing thousands of ServiceNow cases daily. With strict SLA agreements to uphold, identifying which cases would escalate into major incidents was a manual, reactive process. Teams were constantly responding to fires rather than preventing them, and every minute of delay increased the risk of costly SLA breach payments.
Working with the client’s forward-looking leadership team, Evolution Analytics designed and built a predictive engine on top of the organization’s existing Snowflake data lake. Machine learning models built in Snowflake Model Registry and Snowpark Notebooks continuously score incoming cases and trigger proactive alerts through Microsoft Teams, email, and ServiceNow, giving engineers advance warning before incidents become critical. The system went live in production within six months.
