The Challenge

A large multi-entity private enterprise operating in the global food and beverage production, distribution, and logistics sector relied on a patchwork of Excel files and email chains to consolidate financial data at month-end. Producing critical reports such as the Income Statement and Balance Sheet was a labor-intensive, error-prone process that created significant compliance, governance, and accuracy risks at enterprise scale.

Our Approach

Evolution Analytics designed and implemented the ERP Lite Phase 1 (ELP1) Data Controls Application — a fully automated, end-to-end financial data pipeline connecting business units to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. Snowflake served as the centralized, auditable source of truth, while Azure Data Factory automated data movement across systems. A Streamlit-based validation application provided finance teams with real-time visibility and a controlled “gateway check” before data entered Dynamics. The project was delivered from March through December 2024, on time and on budget.
